I am trying to create a python app that takes pieces of data in the gui of my app and writes them to an ElasticSearch database. The ES side I have figured out and it is working fine. I am unsure how or even if I can reference fields from my app in my python script. For example, under \"Selected Options\" I can click on the menu then select \"Operation Details\" - that shows me a few variables like theme, urlstrings, filename, etc. I\'d like to reference those variables (theme, urlstrings, filename) in my python script that I will import into the app. Is it possible to do this? I did read the klera guide on integrating python script but I am not finding (or am not understanding) this specific scenario. Thanks for any help you can provide. ]]>
